Jeanne Liem realized her passion for architecture when she was 10 years old. She had her M.Arch. degree (cum laude) from UT Arlington. She is currently a licensed architect in the State of California, a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), and a professional member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Since she moved her practice to San Diego in 2013, Ms. Liem has established an extensive clientele and network of professionals. She has solid experience with the coastal and construction permit processes for residential and ADUs.
Ms. Liem has strong artistic and technical capabilities that are invaluable for every project. She is thorough with her work and always aims to produce great quality design and drawings. Her interpersonal skills ensure outstanding customer service and an enjoyable experience throughout.
Ms. Liem is particularly interested in climate-responsive, eco-friendly architecture, and feng-shui. She also loves pursuing her passion for art and crafts in her leisure time.

We cannot speak highly enough about Jeanne. It was clear from day one, that she is a great listener who takes notes of her clients' needs. We have a cottage in La Jolla, and Jeanne did a great job of guiding us through a design process that met our needs and dreams as well as our budget and the challenging zoning requirements when close to the ocean. Although our construction has not yet started, our plans are finalized. Jeanne has been creative with ideas, prompt in turn around work, responsive with our questions within 1-2 days, cost conscious and flexible to modify plans based on our specific needs. She encouraged us to get sdge and city permit process started, and guided us with the steps to do so, and had her permit runner get the city permit within a month. She is honest and hard working. Even my dog and cat liked Jeanne!

Jeanne was absolutely fabulous to work with. I went into the project with certain ideas and she opened my eyes up to so much more. I added a bathroom and laundry room - then turned the laundry room (original) in to a walk in pantry. On the exterior, with the addition, the wall would have been very high, she added a trellis to break up the lines. I get so many compliments on how the exterior of the house looks. Jeanne was punctual, always ready to listen and share ideas, and she helped submit everything through the city. I would use her again, and I would recommend her to anyone.
