Jeanne Liem realized her passion for architecture when she was 10 years old. She had her M.Arch. degree (cum laude) from UT Arlington. She is currently a licensed architect in the State of California, a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), and a professional member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Since she moved her practice to San Diego in 2013, Ms. Liem has established an extensive clientele and network of professionals. She has solid experience with the coastal and construction permit processes for residential and ADUs.
Ms. Liem has strong artistic and technical capabilities that are invaluable for every project. She is thorough with her work and always aims to produce great quality design and drawings. Her interpersonal skills ensure outstanding customer service and an enjoyable experience throughout.
Ms. Liem is particularly interested in climate-responsive, eco-friendly architecture, and feng-shui. She also loves pursuing her passion for art and crafts in her leisure time.

One was from very well-regarded architectural firm that would take care of the entire process including construction management, with a large team of junior architects. Their quote for the build was high, and of course their fee was based on the construction cost. She keeps the design phase moving forward quickly and I have been surprised on how fast she gets projects permitted. Some architects I have worked with in the past seem to take on too many projects and then your project will go weeks without hearing from them. That is not the case with Jeanne. Furthermore, Jeanne and her structural engineer are easy to work with and they keep things simple so as to not over complicate the design which saves on the construction cost. I'll be using her again on the next project.
